Scott is a self-shooting video producer with a knack for motion graphics… bringing a ton of experience to the table.

Having gained in-house experience in the finance sector (Virgin Money, Tesco Bank) and the world-class The University of Edinburgh, Scott knows exactly how to make video content not just tell your story — but make people feel it.

Through freelancing as Aarol Films, Scott has partnered with a diverse range of clients to deliver vibrant social media content, live streams and educational videos. His video work spans cultural institutions, educational organisations, and nationwide brands. 

Driven by a strong creative spirit, Scott has produced creative short films that have been broadcast on UK and international platforms including NPO DOC, Holland Doc24, and the Community Channel. His work has also been screened at prestigious venues such as the BFI Southbank, Somerset House, and Whitechapel Gallery — earning awards and recognition along the way!

(2023 – present)

Based in the Corporate Affairs Team, Scott ensures creative considerations are represented at key decision-making meetings and planning sessions. Scott produces video / animation content for the banks external and internal channels collaborating with CEO, COO and CX functions, whilst remaining true to the globally recognised Virgin brand.

Senior Creative | Tesco Bank (2021-2023)

As Senior Creative for Tesco Bank, Scott was trusted to bring it’s strategy to life through video and animation. Within the Colleague Communications and Engagement team, highlights include producing self-shot monthly episodes for Tesco Banks’ popular TBtv, a internal news and views channel sharing stories from all areas of the financial business within Tesco’s tone of voice.

Media Producer | The University of Edinburgh (2018 – 2021)

Scott worked within the video team to produce self-shot media content supporting the central Communication and Marketing departments needs. In this role, Scott promoted national and international PR and marketing initiatives through video, podcasts and facilitated technical operation of the Universities TV Studio.

Working at Eden Court, Scotland’s largest combined arts centre as Digital Media Development. In this role, Scott produced corperate video projects for Eden Court clients such as NHS Highlands and Highland Citizen Senior Network.
