4Schools brings creative careers in TV and Broadcasting right into the classroom

In high school, I never got the chance to study advanced art—my teacher said I “painted too small.” My solution? A bigger brush! 🎨

Fast forward to today, and I had the opportunity to speak at Channel 4’s 4Schools initiative, inspiring students from Hyndland Secondary School about careers in the Creative Sector.

Hosted by Michael Longhi, I joined a Q&A panel of passionate creatives and producers, sharing what goes on behind the screen. Sharing my creative work at Aarol Films to my role as Film Production Manager at Virgin Money, it was a joy to give students an inside look at the industry.

But the real highlight? Seeing the energy and encouragement Michael brings to young people chasing their creative dreams.

“Even if we inspire one student, we’ve made a difference,” he reminded us ❤️

Looking back, my younger self—rushing home from school to film on a camcorder—would’ve loved to be in that room. So grateful to be part of this.
