As Media Producer for the UoE Content team within the Communication and Marketing department,
Scott was lead producer for UoE social media platforms.
In this role, Scott promoted national and international
PR and marketing initiatives through video and podcasts.
Highlights
Producing press junket coverage of notable guests visiting
campus such as Bill Gates, Scotland’s First Minister
Nicola Sturgeon, Former UK Prime Minister Theresa May
and accommodate external press stakeholders
(SKY News, BBC News) with technical assistance.
Collaborating with the Media Producers (Colin Morris & Vicki Bell)
to tell rich stories for communication purposes within the Communication and Marketing TV Studio.
Studio Facilities
Manage upkeep and facilitate technical operation of the Universities TV Studio, enabling UoE to meet media enquiry demands through a Skype TX / ISDN system.
Studio highlights were recording with the alumni department team, Sharing Things podcast, nominated for the Guardian University Awards 2020.
