Albuquerque, New Mexico. On the map it looks dry. It has a record high temperature of 42 degree celsius. Hosts a funky international experimental film festival.
During 14-20th April, 2014. Experiments In Cinema v9.27 will be bringing shorts from all over the world to their city. My short experimental film, E215, will be apart of this years programme. Over on their website I found a interview with the festivals founder, Brian Konefsky. Sharing his views as he humanises experimental film.
“Experimentalists know we are not going to make any money at this, so the playing field is levelled. It’s more about sharing and embracing. So it’s about storytelling in very unique and specific kind of ways”.
Experiments In Cinema v9.27 looks to be a good week during April 14-20, 2014. Albuquerque, New Mexico. E215 will be screening on April 16th 5.30pm.
